Review of Ba Dinh district area
The Ba Dinh district, named after a pivotal battle in Vietnamese history that is now a core section of the city, is one of the most central districts in Hanoi. The bridge linking surrounding satellite districts like Tay Ho, Long Bien, Dong Da, and Hoan Kiem serves as the national administrative and political hub.
Road in Ba Dinh district
With tens of thousands of people on the highways, Ba Dinh has an edge.
The calculated planned arrangement is significantly more prominent, spanning 14 wards with more advantageous highways. The part of Kim Ma Street with two rows of mausoleum trees from Ngoc Khanh Street to the intersection of Nui Truc Street is usually a hot spot for paparazzi close to stunning models. The sidewalk in this region is fairly high and airy, with a large and clearly divided traffic platform. Photographers have complete freedom of style without disrupting the flow of traffic. The beginning of Tran Duy Hung is located on a stretch of Nguyen Chi Thanh Street, which was named the most beautiful street in Vietnam in 2009.
Because it is positioned in the center, the "flexible" synchronous infrastructure in Ba Dinh district makes it convenient to radiate from the streets of Ba Dinh district. There are several shortcuts, and the routes are easily interconnected. The bus network is extensive, with long-distance bus lines like route 34 from My Dinh bus station to Gia Lam bus station, route 22 from BigC Thang Long to Gia Lam bus station, and route 32 from Nhon to Giap Bat bus station all passing through. Depending on where you start at the large agencies in the area, it takes around 20–30 minutes to get to Gia Lam bus station, and about 10–15 minutes to go to Gia Lam bus station. There is an elevated railway line in the region, as well as big highways like Van Cao-Lieu Giao, Giang Vo, and Hoang Dieu.
Trees and parks in Ba Dinh district
Ba Dinh: Green space
It is critical to develop attractive roads that complement the surrounding scenery, keeping in mind that the district's roads have been greened for a long time, resulting in many roads with trees mentioned in the first row. Routes lined with costly green trees, such as Hoang Dieu, which has a purple mausoleum; Phan Dinh Phung; Quan Thanh, which is perfumed with milk flowers; and many more lovely shaded lanes, provide the district with a large amount of air conditioning.
Green parks such as Lenin Park, also known as Chi Lang Flower Garden, were established during the French period and feature a Lenin monument. It is a popular spot for senior people to exercise outside in the early morning or late afternoon.
With its clean and open outside green area, this site is also used as a filming setting for movies. The grass is all natural, except for the area in front of the Lenin monument, which is covered with marble tiles for athletic activities.
Because Thu Le Park resembles a tear, the ancients appropriately named it Thu Le Park. Next to the Hanoi Daewoo Hotel, the park is located on Kim Ma Street, which crosses Cau Giay and is next to Buoi Street, Tan Island, and Nguyen Van Ngoc Street. This is a fantastic place for kids to have a good time while learning about animals. Lake water and fresh, high-density trees create harmony in the park. The area is primarily made up of natural terrain. During weekends or holidays, the lake bed offers a very affordable ducking activity for young couples or groups of friends. Adults must pay a ticket to enter the park, but it only costs $10,000 to have a green spot within. A spiritual temple, Voi Phuc Temple, is located nearby. It is a lovely and nostalgic temple.
The Hanoi Botanical Park, a lung not just for Ba Dinh but for the entire city of Hanoi, was created during the French era and now houses numerous rare tree species. This location is now a favorite among individuals who enjoy bonsai, want to study, investigate, and, more importantly, want to join friends to sing and dance in this woodland setting.
A green lake, combined with a vast and big-scale green tree system, produces a tranquil neighborhood. Nung Mountain, a towering slope with natural grass, was chosen as the park's focal point. The terrain is diversified and balanced because of the trees, ponds, and mounds.
Thanh Cong Park, also known as Indira Gandhi Park, is home to Thanh Cong Lake, trees on campus, and a variety of activities ranging from outdoor fitness to dancing groups every night. Between the hours of 18:00 and 22:00, the shop in front of the gate is always bustling with customers.
Uncle Ho's garden and fish pond, which is called a little tropical forest, can be found in the Presidential Palace remnant. Trees, fruit trees, year-round fruits, and fish ponds with a high fish density are plentiful. It is a popular tourist attraction for Vietnamese citizens around the country, as well as an international friend's visit to Vietnam.
West Lake includes a number of district air-conditioning lakes, including Giang Vo Lake, Thanh Cong Lake, Ngoc Khanh Lake, and Truc Bach Lake.
Architecture of Ba Dinh district
Ba Dinh has a variety of architectural styles
The architectural style of the French period is evident throughout Ba Dinh, most notably in the agencies and departments that house the state's headquarters. The historic structures that the French left behind have been converted into workplaces. Such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Department, the Government Office, and key officials' offices. Because the state manages the land to develop the office, the population in these places with high-class architecture is small.
The dormitory neighborhoods of Ba Dinh, which are most visible on the streets of Giang Vo, Nui Truc, and Thanh Cong, are rapidly altering and morphing into high-class apartment structures being developed like:
Artex Building Apartment is a commercial, office, and high-end apartment complex situated at 172 Ngoc Khanh in the Giang Vo ward of the district. In terms of highways and surrounding landscapes, as well as neighboring dining and shopping requirements, the center's excellent position is ideal.
The Vinhomes Metropolis luxury apartment complex is located at 29 Lieu Giai, Kim Ma façade, across from the Diplomatic Corps Center and close to the administrative, political, and economic centers. The Lotte Mark Lieu Giai building is nearby. Terminal S9, with railway lines 2 on Kim Ma Street and 5 on Lieu Giai Street, is the first project to link to the urban railway line.
The D2 Giang Vo apartment building, which was once a dormitory, has been renovated into a high-end residence, with the entire first-floor block serving as an eating and shopping center. The technological infrastructure for construction has been coordinated.
The Aqua Central Apartment Complex is a 21-story building including hotels, luxury flats, and commercial malls. The project, which is conveniently located near the Noi Bai airport on Yen Phu Street, has a nostalgic feature about the lifestyle of the Trang An people.
Residents of Ba Dinh district
Ba Dinh has a high level of education
The population density in the area is fairly high due to its central position and concentration of prominent agencies in the sector. There is a state park and official dorms, as well as high-class buildings belonging to the affluent.
This is where Vietnam Television, embassies, and significant colleges such as Hanoi Law University and the National Academy of Public Administration are located.
