Hoang Mai District has a rapid urbanization rate. Hoang Mai district borders Thanh Xuan and Hai Ba Trung districts to the north, Thanh Tri district to the west and south, and Hong River-Long Bien district to the east. Spreading from East to West, divided into 3 relatively equal parts by Giai Phong and Tam Trinh streets (on the North-South axis).
